SESSION DATES ARE: 3/19, 4/2, 4/16, 4/30
Candice Duvieilh is a dynamic speaker with a strong academic background and a passion for leadership and public service. With a commitment to making a positive impact, she brings a wealth of knowledge about the inner-workings of the public sector that she feels called to share.
Candice and her husband both grew up in South Mississippi before they moved to El Paso, TX. Her husband, a U.S. Army Veteran and machinist in the aerospace industry, found an opportunity here in North Alabama allowing the couple to move closer to family, friends, and the roots of familiarity. Together, they raise their 15-month-old daughter, balancing family life with a dedication to making a positive impact in their community. Candice's education and life experiences fuel her drive to build a strong, informed, community.
Candice will lead this four-session series for anyone interested in learning more about the budgetary processes that form the basis for our government works and serves the people. The content will be objective, nonpartisan, and NOT focused on specific policies or current events. The workshop will be informal, but structured, and each week's 90-minute session will focus on a different topic which builds on/relates to the previous one, although if you cannot come to all of them, you will still benefit from each session individually.
Note: tickets are non-refundable.
