Vanguard falls back into their routine, quickly finding a wealth of jobs within the Spanish colonies. Callisto and Victor lead Vanguard through every mercenary contract they can find before realizing there was a common thread. The quadrant is rife with pirates holed up everywhere, with clear signs they are communicating closely with each other. Every system is being attacked except one, however: the planetary system of Seville.
