Tidings of Comfort and Books - 2025

It's the most wonderful time of the year! 

We can't wait to kick off the holidays with you! What is Tidings of Comfort and Books? It's a festive private shopping experience featuring specialty beverages, holiday treats, and a gift box that includes a custom South & Pine candle scent as well as a custom store-exclusive bookmark, all included with your ticket.

Join us November 2nd and enjoy adding some seasonal fun and comfort to your holiday season through decor, books, and gifts. Like Santa's elves, we will work through the night and remain closed until 1 PM on Sunday as we transform the store into a holiday wonderland, opening for this event starting at 1 PM. 

All the details about Tidings of Comfort and Books:

• Tidings of Comfort and Books is our holiday in-store event featuring one hour of private shopping at South & Pine and Blue Apple Books. That means you are the very first to shop this year's Christmas gift items, seasonal decor, and books at both shops.
• Other exciting complementary happenings include holiday cocktail beverages, sweets and treats, and special surprises. 
• Only so many tickets are available each hour. Because we are only opening limited spots per hour, you might consider getting your group together to purchase tickets. 
• Your ticket to the event includes a Gift Bag that features items custom-made just for those attending, including a full sized South & Pine candle (in a never-sold-before scent) and an exclusive Blue Apple Books bookmark!
• All tickets purchased are non-refundable, but if you can't make it, don't worry, you have some options. You can always pick up your gift  at a later date or you can transfer your ticket and gift to anyone you want!
• You will select and purchase a one hour time slot and that will be your entry time into the event and your hour of private shopping. Regular tickets are $35 each and VIP HOUR tickets are $50. All guests regardless of age or gender will need a ticket to attend the event. 
• After purchasing you will immediately get an email receipt that will act as confirmation of your ticket purchase.

 - seasonal candles, room & linen sprays, and diffusers

This event sells out quickly, so don't delay! Hint: Buy tickets at the same time as your friend(s) to guarantee you'll have the same time slot.
