Perfect Pound Cake - Workshop with Author Carole Albyn

Her pound cakes are legendary... and now her pound cake BOOK is on its way to becoming the same! Join local baker extraordinaire and newly published author Carole Albyn for a fun afternoon of tasting and talking as she sells and signs her new book, The Sweet Book of Perfect Pound Cakes!

During the first hour (2-3 PM), free samples of some of Carole's pound cakes (she swears she doesn't have favorites, so we just picked a couple we thought sounded delicious!) will be available for attendees, and Carole will be selling and signing her book. 

WORKSHOP DETAILS

From 3-4 PM (after the store closes at 3), ticket-holders can then stay for a practical baking workshop to learn the secrets to a perfect pound cake, just in time for the holiday baking season. 

Tickets (recommended for 12 years of age and up) include:

• A signed copy of The Sweet Book of Perfect Pound Cakes (price varies depending on if you choose a hardcover or paperback book);
• Cake samples and a cup of coffee or tea;
• 10% off any item at Blue Apple Books or South & Pine (prior to the workshop starting, or for half an hour afterward).
