Welcome to South & Pine and Blue Apple Books, a little piece of Alabama charm nestled in historic downtown Madison.

What do our store names mean? I'm so glad you asked!

The words "south" and "pine" evoke the essence of our beloved state with endless rows of pine trees and a sense of longing for the South. The image of a "blue apple" is metaphorical, meant to symbolize the moments in our lives when we embark on something without fully knowing what the experience will hold; those are the moments that often change our lives, right?

Our goal is to create a sense of shared community in our historic downtown, while also helping you to have a shopping experience that brings something meaningful to you and/or your home. We hope to share a moment with you soon, embracing the essence of creativity, hospitality, and the joy of creating lasting memories together.
