Stacy grew up loving the horror genre. When she first saw the movie Cujo, she realized that those last five minutes of any story are important. Stacy loves horror so much, she wrote her Master's thesis on The Decline of Horror in Popular Culture. Stacy loves zombies so much she has done zombie makeup for an ice-skating exhibition, played a zombie in a short independent film, worked several zombie themed runs, and has actually been the murder victim in several short films and theatrical plays. She has a love of acting, writing, and art of different media. Her first book Zombies Are People Too! began as a joke, and was followed by Zombies Bite and Zombie Wasteland. She has several new books in the pipeline. Stacy loves talking horror, murder, poisoning, books, and cats with anyone and everyone.
Currently, Stacy runs a wayward home for foster kittens and has four and a half cats, Jake, Count Tyrone Rugen, Wesley, Vizzini, and half of Cherry. Stacy has worked as a shooting instructor, necromancer, dancer in a Sea World show, writer, artist, and English professor.
